Terms of Agreement

Love My New Zealand Terms

All prices quoted throughout our website or media is in NZD (New Zealand Dollars.)

All prices are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and any other sales or value added tax, except where expressly stated.

All prices quoted are fully inclusive of any meals and refreshments advertised. If you wish to add to, or exchange, any advertised items, additional charges may apply.

All experiences and the contents will be finalised at the point that the travel itinerary is issued to the client.

All prices quoted include collection from and drop off to your agreed collection location, as long as that location falls within our collection zone. Our collection zone is within a 20 km radius from the centre of Titirangi. We measure the distance from the centre of Titirangi to the collection location using the most direct route from Google Maps.

Each additional km outside our collection zone will be charged at $2 per km plus GST (if any) (for example, if your collection location is 8 km outside the collection zone using the most direct route, you will be invoiced a further $32 NZD ($16 each way) plus GST (if applicable).

We will send you an invoice directly to your email address. Our invoices are very clear and contain the methods of payment and the online links for payment in the main body of the invoice for your convenience.

If you pay by credit card there will be a surcharge of 3.5%.

All invoices are issued in New Zealand dollars. If paying from outside NZ, you are responsible for ensuring Love My New Zealand receives the invoiced amount in NZD. Note that your overseas bank or credit card provider will apply its exchange rate current at the time of payment. Please check your provider’s current rate of exchange before making your purchase.

If you are paying by direct credit transfer within New Zealand our bank account details will be provided by secure mail upon request:

Cancellation and Refund Policy if you need to cancel

We discourage cancellations once bookings have been confirmed. If you need to cancel after you have booked, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your circumstances – we will try to accommodate your requirements. However, unless we agree otherwise in writing, we deal with cancellations as follows:

If you have paid in full for the experience, and you cancel your booking at least 21 days before the scheduled date of departure for the experience, we will refund at least 50% of the package price for the experience.

If you have not paid in full, and you cancel your booking at least 21 days before the scheduled date of departure for the experience, provided your deposit is more than 50% of the total package price for the experience, we will refund at least the difference between 50% of the total package price for the experience and the amount of your deposit.

If you cancel less than 21 days before the scheduled date of departure for the experience, no refund will be made.

If you need to cancel, where possible we will try to arrange a suitable alternative date for your experience, however we are under no obligation to do so.

Due to the nature of our tours and experiences, and the fact we are a small company, there may be times when we need to postpone or cancel your experience (e.g. due to circumstances beyond our control including extreme weather conditions, vehicle failure, or injury or ill health of your host or guide).

If we need to postpone or cancel:

We will notify you as soon as we can and explain the circumstances.

If we can, we will offer you an alternative date(s) for your experience, which you can accept or reject.

If we can’t offer you an alternative booking we will give you a full refund provided that:

Credit card fees charged to you at the time of payment will not be refunded.

We will be entitled to deduct any fees incurred by us as part of the refund process (e.g. international bank transfer charges) from any refund due.

We will not be liable to you for any difference between exchange rates applying at the time of payment and the time of refund. A full credit note will be issued detailing refund and deduction of any costs.

Our sole liability to you for cancellation by us will be limited to providing an alternative booking (if we can and you agree), or a refund as set out above.

For your safety and enjoyment, we ask that you follow your host and guide’s instructions at all times.

We will provide full travel itinerary details, including any safety advice or requirements, to the person making the booking. If you are booking on behalf of someone else, it is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your group receive the itinerary and safety information prior to commencement of the experience.

If you or any of your group are not wearing suitable footwear or clothing we reserve the right to require you to change, or to refuse to allow you to participate in all or part of the experience.

We visit some of the most beautiful beaches in and around Auckland. The sea must be respected at all times. We do not allow, under any circumstances, swimming at particular beaches due to their dangerous rips and under currents. Your host and guide may allow swimming to take place at designated beaches, at their sole discretion. In any event, if you choose to enter the water, you do so at your own risk.

We carry some first aid equipment during the experience. We ask that you make any medical conditions known to us at the time of booking and before travel itineraries are confirmed. We will also ask you for the details of an emergency contact.

Many of the locations we visit do not have special access facilities, but this need not prevent those with disabilities or special needs from seeing our beautiful country. Please contact us and we are happy to design an experience around your own requirements. Additional charges may apply.

Our experiences are designed for those aged 18 years and over. However, we are happy to work with you to cater for children or young adults. Just contact us prior to making a booking so we can help you to design the correct experience. Additional charges may apply.

Love My New Zealand Limited are committed to looking after our fragile eco system here in New Zealand as well as the wider world. We do this by not using harmful or mass produced chemicals when cleaning our vehicles. For example, we use natural essential oils for cleaning and polishing leather, olive oil to shine the tires and recycled “grey” water for washing and rinsing our vehicles. We use local suppliers of food and supplies and we limit the amount of packaging we use, especially plastic.

Please help us to protect our beautiful locations by being aware of the environment and limiting what you bring with you on your experience. Please also note that our sand dune plants are fragile so please stick to the designated walk ways. Please be aware when we are walking through the rain forest that shoes must be cleaned prior to entering and upon leaving the areas to avoid cross contamination. Any questions can be directed to us at the time of booking.

Love My New Zealand Limited accepts no liability whatsoever for injury, damage or loss suffered by you or anyone else as a result of you booking or participating in our experiences, unless we have breached these terms, or we are negligent. Even if we are liable for any reason, our liability will not exceed the total amount of the price paid by you for that part of the package you were experiencing when our liability arose. If our liability arises at any other time, our liability will not exceed the total amount actually paid by you to us.

We will not be liable to you or anyone else for any indirect or consequential loss or expense suffered as a result of our negligence or breach of these terms.

You must pay our invoice(s) by the due date set out on the invoice. If you have not paid in full, we will not be obliged to provide any part of the experience to you.

If you are booking on behalf of someone else, you must ensure these terms are brought to the attention of every member of your group prior to commencement of the experience.

You must indemnify us against any loss or damage we suffer as a result of your negligence or breach of these terms.
